Introducing Batch Submission for Mileage and Expense Approvals!

We're excited to announce the release of a new batch submission system to streamline your team’s mileage and expense approval process!

Batch submission allows admins in TripLog's web dashboard to group multiple expense entries and mileage logs into batches for simplified submission and faster approvals.

For many of our customers with large amounts of TripLog users who have used other expense management solutions like Concur in the past, the ability to group individual expenses into report batches for review and approval has been a frequent request. This batch submission functionality is designed to meet this need!

Key Benefits:

Improved efficiency by batching multiple mileage and expense entries into reports for bulk review/approval.
Familiar report-based workflow for users accustomed to solutions like Concur.
No additional cost!

To enable batch submission, log into the TripLog web dashboard, go to Manage > Settings > Customization, and check "Batch Submission."

New Feature: Notification System!

We're thrilled to announce a new feature that brings TripLog’s communication capabilities to a new level: notifications!

As a part of our continued efforts to improve your experience with TripLog, we've implemented a feature that allows TripLog admins to send notifications to their teams! Hopefully, this will make coordinating more streamlined and efficient, saving you time and eliminating potential communication roadblocks.

This also allows us at TripLog to keep our valued customers informed about important updates, offers, and features directly within our platform. No more missing out on crucial information, or having to hunt for it on our website or in your email inbox!

Notifications can be viewed both in the TripLog app and on our web dashboard. In the app, drivers will find the notifications near the top of the main menu. On the web, simply hover over the “Info” tab and select “Notifications”. From here, you can view notifications that were sent to you, or compose notifications of your own (assuming you have the appropriate system privileges).

TripLog Notifications: Feature-rich, Convenient, and Easy-to-use!

When composing, you’re able to send notifications to all of your TripLog users within your organization, specific segments (such as TripLog app users only), or even to specific company-defined departments.

There are additional features that provide you with the flexibility you need, such as setting certain notifications to be recurring, scheduled, or to additionally send an email notification.

We believe our new notification system is a huge step towards making TripLog an even more interconnected and user-friendly experience. TripLog Time Update: Holiday, PTO, & Overtime Calculations

This week’s update is one such request that came from one of our customers - an expansion to TripLog Time’s capabilities. Now, TripLog Time users can set up holidays, employee PTO, and overtime calculations from within the TripLog dashboard.

Visit the “Time Policies” section of the Settings page in the TripLog dashboard to customize your team’s time policies. From there, you can hover over the “Time” tab and select “Time Off” to get started.

TripLog ACH: Reimburse Employees Directly Through TripLog!

TripLog is proud to announce a major new feature available to our customers: TripLog ACH. With TripLog ACH, companies can now reimburse their employees for their mileage and expenses directly within the TripLog dashboard.

You can send direct deposit payments to your drivers from within the TripLog dashboard, as well as automatically mark reimbursement entries as paid. You can say goodbye to manual data entry for good!

With other methods of reimbursement, managing what is and isn’t a reimbursement payment can be a hassle. TripLog ACH conveniently makes your payroll and your reimbursements appear as separate transactions in your accounting software, cutting out any and all uncertainty.

Additional TripLog Dashboard Design Updates

In continuing with our recent improvements to the TripLog admin console, we have updated the designs to our Performance and Mileage (Reports) pages! These can be found under the Dashboard and Reports tabs, respectively. We also updated our Business Expenses page, also under the Reports tab, a short time ago.

Our UI team has been hard at work on providing our customers with updated designs to help modernize and streamline the TripLog dashboard. The data is the same and everything can be found on the same page as before, but things might look different.

TripLog Dashboard Design Update

This week, we’re pleased to announce the rollout of our design refresh of the TripLog admin dashboard!

This updated look features new button designs, color scheme changes, and a streamlined user experience in certain areas.

With that said, the new design keeps just about everything in the same place. You won’t need to worry about wondering where certain buttons or features are.

The biggest move is the “Onboarding” button, which has moved to the right of the page. When your onboarding process is complete, this button will change to “Setup”, at which time you can make any additional changes if necessary.
